This article is dedicated to my brothers and sisters of the European Union. For whom I write to on this hot summer day.
I will not write to you about taxes or education, nor would I torture you with trifles of the political world. Instead I want to remind you in the essence of freedom and democracy, to fulfil our pledge to free all citizens of Europe.
The path through modifying a democratic and European society have been through improving the tools of democracy, such as: cooperative justice, free marketing, democratic institutions and civil rights to all citizens of Europe. Our beloved union have for some years now dedicated itself to improving and simplifying these tools of democracy.
Although we have strengthen our union and anchored democracy in Europe, there is still one European country who isn’t a democracy. This country is Belarus. I would describe the situation in Belarus as an aftermath of the Soviet Union. The communist regime in Belarus have many shapes, and of them are dictatorship.
In the year of 1994 the former KGB employee Alexander Lukashenka becomes the president of the free and independent Belarus. But in the after analysis of the election med by UN and other none-government organizations, they concluded that Lukashenka used corruption and force during election time. Therefore the UN announced the election in Belarus 1994 not valid.
Lukashenka’s crime against democracy clarified itself again in the election of 2004, which according to OSSE wasn’t a valid one. Lukashenka denies these assumptions by accusing the Union with slogans of hatred. The aftermath of this accusations made by the union, made the people of Minsk rise and demonstrate against the communist regime. Lukashenka answers the call of the demonstrators by arresting over 800 of the civilians.
The European union must now take swift and decisive actions against the non-democratic regime in Belarus. The proper thing to do would be to execute a full scale sanction against Belarus. Then it would be a good idea to establish links and dialogs with the democratic parties of Belarus. This would hopefully lead to a democratic and independent Belarus in the near future.
I want to finish this article by saying that the time of dictators have come to an end, so let us forge an new age an age of democracy

I really appreciate pèeople taking concern for Belarus.. it is an amazing country and very interesting. I visited it twice and could feel the weight of such political situation. I also worked with some activists and youth groups and i can tell how in the range of only two years the governament gained power and the political activism has lost it’s power and the momentum it gained after 2006 and the elections.
I made a photoreporatge of it and soon i will make an article.. I hope in the mean time you will enjoy the pictures!
Best regards
